HEALING TABLE
CONSULTING

We are committed to fostering a culture of compassion, empowerment, and transformation.

ABOUT US

At Healing Table Consulting we believe that healing is a journey, not a destination. Life has a way of breaking us down—through hardships, setbacks, losses, and unexpected challenges—but it also offers us opportunities to rebuild, restore, and move forward with renewed purpose.

Healing Table Consulting represents exactly that: a space for transformation, support, and restoration. It’s about taking the broken pieces—whether emotional, mental, spiritual, or professional—and helping you put them back together in a way that makes you whole again. Our work is rooted in experience, faith, and resilience, guiding others through their healing process just as we have navigated our own.

HENRY TERRY

Henry Terry was born and raised in Mount Vernon, New York, where he comes from a lineage of dedicated community activists. He has built his career and life around uplifting his community, addressing systemic challenges, and empowering others to overcome obstacles.

Henry joined Mount Vernon SNUG 209 in May 2016 as an outreach worker, quickly rising to the role of Outreach Worker Supervisor in October 2018. By December 2019, his dedication and expertise earned him a position as a statewide trainer for the DCJS SNUG initiative, where he now trains both new hires and management staff in violence interruption and community outreach.

Henry’s passion for mentorship led to the co-creation of the YouthCred program—a partnership with the Youth Shelter of Westchester and the Youth Bureau of Westchester County. This initiative transforms young men with troubled pasts into credible messengers, equipping them with skills in leadership, mentoring, and conflict resolution. His ability to connect with youth stems from his lived experiences, which fuel his mission to guide others toward brighter futures.

In addition to his anti-violence advocacy, Henry is deeply engaged in service to his community. At the start of his career, he worked cooking for senior citizens through the Mount Vernon Recreation Department

Henry is also a licensed preaching minister and chief adjutant under the Senior Pastor Reverend Dr. Jeffrey R Wheeler, bringing his faith and spiritual guidance to his advocacy work.

Henry balances his professional life with his role as a proud father of six and husband to a thriving Police Lieutenant in the Mount Vernon Police Department. His dedication to family, faith, and community exemplifies his unwavering commitment to creating a safer, more supportive environment for all.
